The Pointed Toes team is off to the UK!!!!
Over the weekend the Pointed Toes team was busy helping out some of our friends at their End of Year Dance concerts.
It brought back so many memories for us, with the smell of hair spray, sequins and glitter and of course the feeling of nerves and excitment in the air.
The Pointed Toes team would like to congratulate our friends for putting on such amazing End of year productions to top off 2009.
As most of you may already know but the Pointed Toes team is off to London in a couple of weeks to do some travelling as well as research on some exciting new dance wear and dance news.
Also to let you all know that the Online shop will be closed from Thursday 17 December 2009 - Monday 11 January 2010, so any last minute orders have to be in by Wednesday 16 December or you will miss out for Christmas.

It is coming up to that time of year again......
The Sydney Festival 2010 is from January 9-30 and is jam packed full of art ,music, theatre and of course dance.
Some of the Pointed Toes Team arrive back from London just in time for the start of the festival.
The Festival first night is where the city is turned into a summer playground with lots of major and international artists performing all over the CBD, there is also workshops and activities you can join in on as well.
It is a great night, but if you miss out on the Festival first night don't worry as there are plenty of other great events during the 3 weeks.
The Pointed Toes team has recently been doing some Private Yoga Lessons and we have discovered that yoga has some great benefits for us Dancers.
Yoga involves a series of physical poses and would be a great way for Dancers to relax between classes, rehearsals, and performances, while still maintaining flexibility and strength.
We highly recommend you try a class today.
Yoga has also inspired the PT team to start supplying Yoga Wear, so keep a look out for some exciting new Yoga gear coming to the Online shop soon.

This is a sneak peak at the trailer for the up and coming musical "NINE" , which has been adapted from the original 1982 Broadway Musical.
"NINE" has been directed by Rob Marshall who also brought us the smash hit "Chicago" and stars an all singing and dancing list of A-listers from Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson and even Fergie from The Black Eyed Peas.
"NINE" is set to be released in Australia in January 2010 and has already been tipped for the Oscars, so check out the trailer and you will see why.

The greatest musical of all time is Back and is here in Australia!!!! 
Since the passing of Michael Jackson a few months ago, there has been a number of artists and performers who have been so inspired by MJ's music and have to wanted to express their own take on his work.
We found this great video of two performers Sam Tsui and Kurt Schneider who have done a Capella medley of a number of MJ's songs from Thriller to Man in the Mirror.
There isn't any dance moves in the video but the Pointed Toes team loved the medley so much that we could imagine a great dance routine choreographed to it.
