Miami City Ballet and Beyonce

Male dancers Alex Wong and Jeremy Cox from Miami City Ballet were seen warming up backstage at one of their performances to Beyonces' latest song "Single Ladies".
They learnt the entire dance routine from Beyonces film clip with a few added dance moves like a couple of pirouettes and a ponche.
It is great to see dancers having fun backstage and it is definitely one way to forget about those nerves before going on stage.

No. 10 Box Office Hit

Step up 2: The Streets (2008)

Step Up 2: The Streets is about two dance students Andie (Briana Evigan) and Chase (Robert Hoffman) from different backgrounds at the Maryland School of the Arts and they become very close and start a dance crew with a group of friends.

To prepare for the role of Chase Collins, Robert Hoffman actually went into the Baltimore city underground dance scene and participated in competitive break dance circles.

Also the Finalists from MTV's "Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew" (2008), the JabbaWockeez, appear in the movie briefly wearing their signature white masks.

Step Up 2 has some really great dancers and breakdancing tricks. The final dance scene in the rain is amazing.
