End of Year Concert Memories

Over the weekend the Pointed Toes team was busy helping out some of our friends at their End of Year Dance concerts.

It brought back so many memories for us, with the smell of hair spray, sequins and glitter and of course the feeling of nerves and excitment in the air.

The Pointed Toes team would like to congratulate our friends for putting on such amazing End of year productions to top off 2009.

Christmas Holidays

As most of you may already know but the Pointed Toes team is off to London in a couple of weeks to do some travelling as well as research on some exciting new dance wear and dance news.

Also to let you all know that the Online shop will be closed from Thursday 17 December 2009 - Monday 11 January 2010, so any last minute orders have to be in by Wednesday 16 December or you will miss out for Christmas.

The Pointed Toes team would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for all your support in 2009 and we look forward to another great year of exciting new dance wear and dance news in 2010.

Angelina and the English National Ballet

Angelina Ballerina is performed by the English National Ballet and is based on the original drawings and stories from the book series.

The dancers preform in full mouse costumes including big ears, tails, whiskers and can be quite gruelling as the padded prosthetic mouse heads can be very heavy and make you claustrophobic.

Angelina not only does some wonderful ballet pirouettes during the performance but she also breaks out into some disco, hip-hop and even a tap number.

Angelina Ballerina is coming to Sydney's State Theatre from December 10 and is a great show for all ages.
